Sauron, the Dark Lord''s, plans a major attack on Minas Tirith, capital of Gondor, so that Gandalf and Pippin leave the site in order to help the resistance. The long trilogy by J. R. R. Tolkien is a complex allegory of power and its ultimate fascination. The One Ring, Matrix of Power was forged by Sauron, the Lord of the Dark, prefiguração supreme allegorical of barbarism (which shows the relevance of historical allegory in Tolkien). The allegorical world of Tolkien is composed of a multitude of fantastic beings: Hobbits, elves, dwarves, orcs, trolls, etc.. This suggests that Tolkien (or the adaptation by Peter Jackson) accepts that there may be a Power of Evil and the Power of Well (which is an ideological bias).
